Maison P, Ville de Saint-Lambert
UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This addition to a house was built to respect the existing architecture while adding a new contemporary kitchen, office, and mastersuite on the second floor. The front facade addition was carefully designed to fit proportionally and the materials were all tested on site to ensure that they matched well with the existing brick. Inside the kitchen, the ceiling structure was built out of solid B.C fir beams which continue outside with the patio structure. These structural beams give a warmth and mass to the kitchen which will be the most used space in the house.
